Want to explore Yosemite with a local?!?!? Who better to guide you through Yosemite National Park, than someone who is intimately familiar with the land? There truly is no better way. I was born and raised in a small town known as "the gateway to Yosemite" and have spent a good chunk of my adult here as well! Some of my earliest childhood memories include frequent day trips to the park with my family, almost every weekend some seasons! We would go sledding in the winter, hiking and waterfall chasing in the summer and spring and jumping into leaf piles in the fall. I have fond childhood memories from all over the park, in every season and now enjoy creating similar memories with my own daughter and with those who choose to trust me to help them curate a beautiful experience in my special corner of the world!
I hopped around states for a bit, exploring and living in Hawaii, Colorado and other parts of California before eventually ending up back in Mariposa county (in the foothills of Yosemite), around 2009. I quickly re-purchased an annual parks pass and spent most weekends exploring the park with my daughter and pups (plus visiting other U.S. National Parks and countries as well). After spending well over 2 years, reacquainting myself with the land and diving deep into my own adventures in the Park, I began leading day trips to Yosemite for friends and acquaintances. Those day adventures blossomed into what you see me doing today; curating & hosting group trips all over the world! It all started right here, in my "backyard" and it is still one of my favorite places to explore and share with other.

The Landmarks
Yosemite National Park is actually the birth place of the idea behind National Parks. Though Yellowstone, was the first “official” park, Yosemite was the first protected area in America and the true inspiration behind the start of America’s greatest idea ? year before Yellowstone was even established! Photos of the world famous Half Dome, Fire falls, Yosemite falls, El Capitan, the Valley floor overlook, the mist trail, and others don’t even have to be named for people to know “this is Yosemite”. Let’s go check them all out!

Off the beaten path
Yosemite beyond the Valley. Most people on the visit the famous Yosemite Valley, understandably so, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and El Capitan, are all incredible! However, there is so much more to see and do in this iconic National Park; without the big crowds. Let’s travel deeper, beyond the valley floor! Let me know when we begin planning your adventure and I will be sure to show you the lesser known but equally amazing areas that most people never even knew existed!

There is there so much more to do in Yosemite besides hiking, sightseeing and rock climbing! Did you know you can ski/snowboard, horseback ride, snowshoe, ice skate, river raft, and even stand up paddle board! There are actually no companies that offer stand up paddle boarding tours or rentals in the park BUT I have my own boards and am able to bring them with us on your tour, so you can enjoy an amazing paddle in one of Yosemite’s picture perfect lakes or rivers. When I say unique and custom adventures, I mean it! Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it does. As a professional photographer, I can also memorialize your special moments forever!
