WHERE TO FIND ICE CASTLES & ICE HOTELS IN NORTH AMERICA

Everyone probably wants to and SHOULD experience a fairytale, winter wonderland at some point in their lives and an ice castle or ice hotel is one way to do it! 😃

I scoured the globe (via the World Wide Web) to find unique and magical winter experiences for you in North America!

Of course this is not a comprehensive list, I may have missed one of two. If I did, please share them with us in the comments! 🫶🏽

I have outlined them below by country for you but first, some photos! Happy browsing!

Canada

Canada is the only place in North America that offers both ice hotels and ice castles. Shocker right? 🤪

Ice Castles:

• Edmonton, Alberta

• Saint John, New Brunswick

• Winnipeg, Manitoba

Ice Hotels:

• Quebec City. Hotel de Glace

United States

So the United States does not have any ice hotels but it DOES have a number of ice castles. BONUS, it also have an ice museum!

Ice Castles:

• Cripple Creek, Colorado

• Midway, Utah

• Maple Grove, Minnesota

• North Woodstock, New Hampshire

Ice Museum:

• Fairbanks, Alaska

Mexico

I’m sure it comes as no surprise that Mexico does not have any ice hotels or ice castles BUT they DO have an ice bar and I found it for you guys!

Ice Bar:

• Isla Mujeres in the Yucatán Peninsula
